It is very useful to acquire some knowledge of braking system for a driver. Usually, a brake disc is always loaded on your vehicle if your drive is a car. Your networking tips are bang on.

One thing I missed in your post is that in addition to 'strategically planning' who to meet, one should try and reach out to these people beforehand.

This ensures that when you go up to meet them, they are expecting you. It is a warm 'welcome'.

It might not always work if the person you want to meet is extremely busy but its always worth to take a chance.

You nailed everything else :)

This probably seems like common sense for anyone who has been networking for many years, but Z reminded me that they don't teach social graces in business school and it is not second nature for many people, especially international business students. Business is all about RELATIONSHIPS and "staying HUMAN." Let me know how your PTO Expo goes!

While you give great ideas about how to connect with social media, you point out how it really comes down to the face to face meeting and I agree we should never take our eye off that ball.
